Our Football Leaders organised a coaching

session for Dorchester Middle School pupils

at the Redlands Community Sports Hub to meet the

assessment requirements for the FA's Junior Football Leader Award.

The event culminated in a small-sided tournament officiated and co-ordinated by our leaders with the

Green DMS team winning the round-robin competition with two wins and a draw from their three games.

Redlands' manager Lewis Stripp presented certificates to the leaders who are pictured with DLC teaching

staff Dill Butcher and Grant Neven and the players from Dorchester Middle School.

Butcher hailed the mini-event a great success and said, "The morning proved very rewarding for both DLC

and DMS students alike. Our aspiring sports coaches will be much more confident in the future having planned

and delivered a successful football event whilst completing the major assessment for the FA's introductory award.

Furthermore the morning has consolidated our relationships within the Dorchester Area Schools Partnership."
