On Friday 2nd July 2010 we said farewell to our Year 11 students.

It was wonderful to see so many students, parents, carers, friends and staff at the annual Leavers' Day.

All agreed that the 2010 Year 11 group was a good group.  One student, Lynny, was so grateful for the

support she had received over her two years at the centre, particularly from her Key Worker Julie, that

she wrote a letter to the Queen. The Queen’s Lady-in-Waiting replied commending Julie’s mentoring

of Lynny.

Following a superb barbecue lunch prepared by catering staff, John heaped praise on leavers as each

was presented with their Record of Achievement before announcing the winners of the Curriculum

and Special awards.
