This year’s Youth Parliament elections had a 61% turn out throughout Dorset with many Key Stage 3 and 4 students also voting at DLC. The policies that were being discussed ranged from young people’s mental health and travelling expenses for teenagers, to more support for young people with learning difficulties and the cost of school food. The young people that were elected are:
- Ted Paul, Budmouth College – Member of Youth Parliament
- Ellie Davies, Weymouth College - Member of Youth Parliament
- Olly Cullis, Thomas Hardye 6th form – Deputy MYP
- Phoebe Crutchley, Ferndown Upper – Deputy MYP
