THIRD TIME LUCKY!

In 2015 DLC lost out on penalties at Blandford in the semi-final despite conceding just one goal and remaining undefeated on the day. Last year Owen Padmore led us to the final where we were narrowly beaten by hosts Christchurch Learning Centre. But on May 2nd 2017 DLC were finally crowned champions following an emphatic 4-0 defeat of The Forum (Blandford) at Redlands 3G.

PICK THIS ONE OUT!!!

Dan Saul shows composure as he brings the ball down neatly before firing past the Forum’s No. 1 as DLC romp home again. The boys netted 11 times over the morning while, at the other end of the pitch, nobody was able to beat keeper Owen Freeman at all.

GET IN THERE YOU

LITTLE BEAUTY!!!

Tom Miller shows unerring accuracy as he sneaks a shot between the keeper’s legs as DLC make light work of The Forum in their third group game – Won 3-0.

ANYONE FOR BALLET?!!!

Everybody, including Dan Saul, looks perplexed as this Forum defender tries some rather unorthodox defending whilst pulling off a near-perfect pirouette in the process!

CAPTAIN CORBAN PROUDLY ACCEPTS THE WINNERS TROPHY:

Recently retired senior DLC teacher, Lorraine Greenham, presents the Dorset Learning Centres’ Six-a-Side trophy to DLC captain, Corban Brooks, who led his side to four straight victories on the day.

THE CHAMPIONS LINE-UP:

The DLC six-a-side team proudly display the trophy alongside Lorraine Greenham and Joe Brown. They are, left to right: Will Heron, Corban Brooks, Tom Miller, Owen Freeman, Callum Dawson and Dan Saul.
