Please find below our 2016 exam results.

We are pleased to confirm that 93% of students obtained 1 or more GCSEs at A* - G, with 47% of students obtaining 5 or more A*-G GCSE grades. Pupil Premium students achieved similar success: 90% obtained 1 or more GCSEs at A* - G and 50% obtained 5 or more A*-G grades.

We were especially impressed with the way in which the students handled the stresses of a very busy exam season. For many, this was the first time that they have sat formal exams and they rose to the challenge impeccably.

In addition to the GCSE results, students also achieved good passes in:

  • Functional Skills English
  • Functional Skills Mathematics
  • Preparation for Working Life
  • ELC Mathematics
  • ELA Using ICT
  • ELA/C Personal & Social Education
  • ELA Life & Living Skills
  • AQA Unit Award Mechanics

A very well done to all DLC 2016 Year 11 leavers.  All staff at DLC wish you the very best for your future.

Please do keep in touch.
